Erin Parekh is a holistic nutritionist and women’s wellness expert who specializes in guiding women to nourish themselves and their bodies as they transition into motherhood and beyond.
Our conversation starts with making food easier. Often we makes things so complicated and it honest have to be. We chat about Erin’s tip to put your snacks on a plate. It’s so simple but it creates a mindset shift and brings presence to eating.
Erin talks about a common issue with her clients is that they don’t eat enough during the day. She talks about when during the day you need to eat vs. when you should eat. “We often think lunch is a specific time and end up not eating and then it’s 5 to 6 pm and you start eating everything. It’s really about eating enough throughout the day and stacking calories so that we don’t start our evenings starting, bingeing and eating all of the things.”
Erin goes deep into her schedule and how she plans with a physical calendar. She also gives us your cooking strategy (hint cook a little extra).
